C2C Authorities and Insurance

C2C is a fully certified and licensed load broker for the United States and Canada (MC527765) specializing in the movement of freight of all kinds with the exception of hazardous materials.

Prior to engagement, all carriers contracted to serve C2C customers are brought through a due diligence process that ensures that all authorities are current, safety ratings satisfactory, and that freight is insured to the maximum limits outlined in the International Bill of Lading Act. Additional to our carrier insurance, C2C has a $250,000 USD cargo legal liability insurance policy.

Standard freight coverage is $2 CDN per pound unless otherwise insured in advance of the shipment. If required, additional insurance can be arranged on a per-load basis given a 5 day minimum lead time.
